Job Title: Payroll/Timekeeper
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Interview Process: 1 round via Microsoft Teams
Citizenship Requirement: U.S. Citizen or U.S. National (ITAR-compliant facility)
Role Purpose
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll/Timekeeper to support the launch of a new manufacturing plant. This position ensures all employee time and attendance records are accurately maintained in Kronos/UKG, enabling timely and accurate payroll processing. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, tech-savvy, and capable of maintaining high levels of accuracy and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities

Input, update, and maintain employee time and attendance data in Kronos or applicable timekeeping systems.

Verify timesheet accuracy; investigate and resolve discrepancies.

Ensure compliance with all relevant timekeeping/payroll laws and internal policies.

Partner with HR and management to validate employee data.

Secure timely approval of weekly timecards in accordance with payroll deadlines.

Collaborate with payroll operations to resolve issues before processing cutoffs.

Generate and distribute time-related reports (e.g., hours worked, OT).

Maintain process documentation and protect confidential data appropriately.

Support ongoing and project-based initiatives related to timekeeping.

Promote process standardization and efficiency within a team environment.
Required Qualifications

Experience with timekeeping and attendance systems (e.g., Kronos/UKG).

Strong understanding of payroll procedures and compliance.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and data analysis.

Detail-oriented with excellent data entry accuracy.

Effective communication and collaboration skills across functions and locations.

Strong organizational and time management skills to handle competing priorities.

Ability to manage and interpret large data sets in a business context.

U.S. Citizenship or Nationality required (ITAR facility).
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a related field.

Experience using Kronos Workforce Central or Pro Workforce Management.

Customer service experience is a plus.
