Job Title: Electrical Foreman – Water/Wastewater
Primary Function:
Lead and supervise an electrical crew on water and wastewater treatment plant projects. Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with NEC, project specifications, and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Safety:

Enforce and model OSHA and site-specific safety standards

Conduct and participate in safety meetings and toolbox talks

Address all safety concerns immediately

Maintain a safe jobsite for all crew and trades
Planning & Coordination:

Read and interpret wastewater plant electrical drawings, one-lines, and ladder logic
-
Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily tasks involving conduit, cable tray, SCADA systems, and controls
-
Track crew productivity, labor hours, and material usage
-
Maintain inventory and anticipate project needs
Supervision & Leadership:
-
Lead a crew of electricians and apprentices in treatment plant environments

Provide hands-on training in motor control centers (MCCs), pump stations, and process instrumentation
-
Foster a positive and safety-focused work culture
-
Maintain communication with Superintendent and other trades
Quality & Production:
-
Ensure high-quality installations the first time—no rework
-
Monitor progress against production targets and adjust as needed

Deliver completed work that meets specs, standards, and schedule
Documentation:

Complete daily reports, timesheets, and pre-task plans accurately
-
Maintain records for inspections, equipment checks, and compliance documentation
Qualifications & Skills:

Extensive experience in electrical work on water or wastewater treatment facilities

Proficiency in NEC, SCADA, motor controls, conduit bending, and testing equipment

Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and specifications

Familiarity with related disciplines (civil, mechanical, concrete) as they apply to electrical scopes

High school or trade school diploma preferred

Valid driver's license required
Physical Requirements:

Able to lift 90 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces

Tolerant of weather extremes, noise, vibration, and plant environments
