1st shift - Contract to Hire
9/80 Work Schedule 7:00am to 4:00pm
Job Summary & Essential Functions
Perform various assembly operations as assigned by the production supervisor
- Operate a variety of equipment, including wave solder, ERSA and conformal coating, as needed to fulfill customer requirements
- Assemble electrical or electromechanical devices or components using a variety of hardware/tools
- Understand and identify defects in accordance with applicable workmanship standard and class
- Perform verification tests in accordance with assembly instructions
- Perform work with minimal supervision and instruction
- Rework and/or repair assemblies as required
- Adhere to General Requirements of Team Members
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, job orders, specifications, drawings, schematics, process sheets, wiring diagrams, and small print
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to use tools and testing devices
- Strong math computational and measurement skills
- Ability to obtain IPC-610 within 3-6 months
- Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to produce quality results
- Ability to work in a high volume, high detail work environment
- Ability to read, comprehend and follow instructions
- Ability to manipulate and work with tedious and small parts
- Ability to problem solve issues involving multiple variables and limited standardization
- Abilities listed in General Requirements of Team Members
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 years of relevant job experience
