Job Title: Entry-Level Fleet Operations Supervisor

Schedule: 40 hours/week; candidates must be available all 7 days (schedule to be discussed during interview)

Position Summary:
This is an entry-level management role designed to provide hands-on training in all aspects of fleet operations at Tyson Foods. Working alongside experienced supervisors, the associate will gain exposure to dispatch operations, driver coordination, load monitoring, safety procedures, and multi-department functions including load planning, shuttle, and regional operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Support daily dispatch operations including driver coordination and coverage of unassigned loads

Monitor delivery schedules to ensure on-time performance

Address issues arising during non-office hours

Participate in training across multiple transportation departments to gain operational understanding

Cover weekend dispatch shifts (day/night) as needed
Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required

Experience: Minimum of 6 months recent long-haul dispatch experience (not customer service)

Computer Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and email communication

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills

Other Skills: Self-motivated with leadership potential and a willingness to learn

Schedule Flexibility: Must be willing to work varying shifts, including weekends
