Position Overview
The Purchasing Clerk is responsible for processing purchase and stock orders through the POR system. This includes preparing, submitting, and tracking purchase requests while ensuring data accuracy. The role also provides support for Shipping and Receiving functions as needed.
Key Responsibilities

Manage all basic ordering activities and maintain the SharePoint purchasing list

Order and maintain stock of shop supplies

Communicate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of requested items

Provide backup support to Shipping and Receiving when necessary
Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent
-
ERP experience
-
Forklift certification or operational experience

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Strong attention to detail and communication skills

Reliable transportation and strong work ethic

Occasional lifting and carrying

Flexibility to work weekends to meet fixed deadlines
