We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Receiving Sample Associate to join our team in Sandusky, Oh. This role plays a crucial part in our sample logistics department, focusing on the accurate receiving, inspecting, and documentation of all home decor samples.
Hours: 7AM to 3:30PM Monday-Friday with Saturdays if needed.
Pay: $13.50/hr.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect samples for damage or discrepancies by opening boxes and checking the quality of the items.
- Record and track sample items into the inventory management system.
- Ensure proper labeling and storage of sample goods in the warehouse.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized department area.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to know or understand how to use a handheld/ RF scanner.
- Proven experience in a similar receiving or warehouse role preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording data.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required, up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
