Position Summary
The Storeroom Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for providing high-quality support to the client by managing procurement activities for stock and non-stock materials. This includes placing orders, resolving invoice discrepancies, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role is based at the customer site and requires professionalism, strong communication, and technical proficiency.
Key Responsibilities

Perform procurement activities for inventory and spot buys to meet client needs

Approve inventory forecasts and replenishment recommendations

Place requisitions and vendor purchase orders

Monitor and follow up on vendor performance, product quality, and delivery timelines

Resolve vendor issues, coordinate returns, and manage excess or damaged inventory

Maintain supplier and customer relationships; communicate order statuses

Resolve account payables discrepancies with suppliers

Track and document customer cost savings and KPI data

Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and LEAN practices

Maintain a clean, professional work environment

Perform other assigned duties
Required Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship (must show U.S. passport or certified birth certificate with raised seal on Day One)

High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field preferred

1 year of experience in procurement or supply chain roles preferred

Strong customer service and communication skills

Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Outlook, Excel)

Comfortable with ERP and inventory systems; aptitude for learning new software

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills

Self-motivated and able to work independently
Work Environment & Physical Demands

Regular computer use and data entry

Exposure to industrial environments (e.g., dirt, heat, cold, etc.)

May require PPE including steel toe shoes, gloves, and safety glasses

Ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs occasionally

Required dress code: jeans or long pants and a collared shirt/blouse
