CNC Operator
Location: Youngstown, OH
Hours: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift available, preference given to candidates that have open availability.

Description:
Set up, operate, or tend CNC machines to mill, plane, shape, groove, or profile metal or plastic work pieces.
Duties:
- Performs all assigned machine shop operations
- Regularly performs milling, drilling, tapping, de-burring, sawing and sanding tasks
- Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to management or designee
- Remove workpieces from machines, and check to ensure that they conform to specifications, using measuring instruments such as microscopes, gauges, calipers, and micrometers.
- Move cutters or material manually or by turning handwheels, or engage automatic feeding mechanisms to mill workpieces to specifications.
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed
- Performs inspection of machined products, and documents results
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Previous CNC Opereator experience
- Familiarity using micrometers and calipers
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Willing to learn to become proficient in operating applicable equipment
- Quality and detail oriented
- Excellent mathematical skills
