Job Title: Packaging Associate

Summary:
The Packaging Associate is responsible for packaging pharmaceutical products by operating, maintaining, and cleaning equipment according to cGMP and Standard Operating Procedures. This role involves hands-on execution of manufacturing and packaging processes in a regulated environment, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and documentation. It is ideal for candidates who are detail-oriented and eager to support continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing setting.

Shift:
C Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM, Monday through Friday
Must be available for a flexible schedule and overtime as needed.

Pay:
$18.00 per hour 15% shift differential

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, clean, and maintain production and packaging equipment in accordance with SOPs.

  • Review production schedules and ensure all necessary supplies, materials, and documents are available.

  • Execute packaging processes following cGMP guidelines and environmental health and safety standards.

  • Document production activities accurately, including logs, reports, and batch records.

  • Monitor and record process parameters and communicate any deviations or concerns.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure adherence to production timelines.

  • Assist in equipment qualification, validation protocols, and process improvement initiatives.

  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment and work areas.

  • Communicate effectively with incoming shifts and supervisors about equipment, materials, or quality issues.

  • Support a safe and secure work environment by following all HSSE and security protocols.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Prior experience in a GMP-regulated manufacturing or packaging environment preferred.

  • Ability to operate and learn various production equipment.

  • Basic mechanical aptitude and knowledge of computer applications desirable.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed procedures.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks (standing, bending, climbing, etc.).
