JOB DESCRIPTION
Under general supervision, the Associate SC & Logistics Analyst assists in the product planning and global inventory management for assigned brands.
Responsibilities include quantitative order analysis, allocation of product, preparation and distribution of reports and supporting analyses.
Assist in the management of inventory levels and allocations for assigned brands by account, country, and collection
Responsible for the allocation and prioritization of product post-order
Aid in the identification of excess inventory and identify potential "sweep opportunities
Attend line reviews / forecast meetings to assist in inventory planning management
Gather, interpret, and present inventory data reports as requested Provide customer service to international partners Interact with individual country locations / sectors to analyze inventory requirements versus forecast
Collaborate with Supply Chain team to revise and adapt plans based on market feedback, SKU performance and regional seasonality.
Maximize fill-rates and review accuracy with management.
Maintain open communication between Supply Chain, Brand Management, Sales and Distribution Centers.
Perform all other duties as assigned
Job Specifications
Typically has the following skills or abilities:
Associate degree from a 2-year accredited college or university or equivalent in experience and training required;
Bachelor's degree preferred
Knowledge of eyewear industry or experience in fashion accessory field Flexible and able to change priorities and direction quickly and effectively
Experience in SAP Supply Chain Management systems preferred
Strong computer skills including MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Lotus Notes
Excellent analytical skills required including the ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract variables
Ability to work with individuals on a global level
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Excellent organization skills, detail oriented and ability to multitask Flexible and able to change priorities and direction quickly and effectively
