Nesco Resource is collaborating with their client in Bridgeport to identify a qualified, professional candidate to join their team in the role of Sales Representative & Project Manager. Responsibilities:
 
- Identify and target new business opportunities in Connecticut and Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, Rockland & Orange County, NY
 
- Build and maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business (converting installations into service agreements)
 
- Conduct qualifying screening of leads including but not limited to factors such as location, budget, & scope
 
- Conduct site visits with clients to scope out possible equipment location and requirements considering client objective, load requirements and local and state laws/restrictions
 
- Provide technical expertise and support to customers regarding product features and benefits
 
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotes, and contracts based off requirements discussed during the site visit
 
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitors, and market conditions
 
- Managing installation scheduled and the crews associated
 
- Manage communication between customers in the installation process and contracts and departments performing work
 
- Ensure all pre-install factors are coordinated for each job including but not limited to permits, subcontractors, equipment, and site work
 
- Manage project planning within budget of the estimate
 
- Prioritize tasks and project with changing deadlines and expectations
 
Requirements:
 
- Proven experience in outside sales or a related field
 
- Strong sales skills with a history of meeting or exceeding targets
 
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
 
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
 
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics or similar CRM software is a plus
 
- Generator installation or similar experience is preferred
 
- CT E-1 or E-2, or equivalent understanding of electrical systems is preferred
 
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent is required
 
- Ability to manage several projects and tasks in a high pace environment
