Part time material handler/back up forklift operator
Shift: 2pm-6pm Monday through Saturdays mandatory may be asked to work on Sundays which is also mandatory. May work a full shift when needed to stay.
Safety shoes are required first day no exceptions.
Required to have forklift operator experience. Must know how to operate both stand up and sit down forklifts. Will not train. Client will certify onsite. Will be doing manual work. Will only operate forklift when needed. Must have great attendance.
Basic job duties will involve receiving material from a supplier, following a set of work instructions and repacking said material based on the work instruction process then palletizing them at the end while following a similar work instruction process. Employee-to-employee training as well as teamwork will be important. All candidates must be able to stand for up to 6 to 8 hours per day, have good hand eye coordination and be able to read instructions/ follow directions and processes.
-Be able to use scanner to create repack labels
-Be able to read part numbers and compare the supplier part numbers to the repack labels that are created
-Be computer literate and read and operate our AS400 system.
-Stand in one place for long periods of time.
-Be able to bend and twist in a repetitive manner during the repacking process
-Be able to lift up to 30 pounds
-Perform Housekeeping duties such as sweeping and organizing.
-Be able to work in hot conditions in the summer and cold conditions in the winter
