Job Title: Logistics Claims Senior Specialist

Position Summary:
The Logistics Claims Senior Specialist is responsible for managing and resolving product-related claims including overages, shortages, damages, and refusals reported at the time of delivery. This role is essential in ensuring timely disposition decisions, reducing carrier accessorial fees, and maintaining logistics efficiency. The Specialist works in a call center environment, communicating directly with drivers and collaborating extensively with cross-functional teams across Transportation, Operations, FSQA, Customer Service, Warehousing, Deductions, and Sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and resolve OS&D claims in accordance with SOPs

  • Communicate with drivers to collect delivery details and resolve issues

  • Update transportation and financial systems to ensure seamless operations

  • Validate and process donation receipts; coordinate with Deductions and Sustainability teams

  • Oversee accessorial payments and ensure compliance with contractual agreements

  • Obtain and validate Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation for each case

  • Maintain and audit worklists in High Radius; report findings in Power BI

  • Support KPI tracking for Distribution through accurate and timely data reporting

Requirements:

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Bachelor's degree or current enrollment preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of office/clerical experience required; 3 years preferred

  • Prior logistics, OS&D claims, or customer service experience highly valued

  • Data collection and analysis experience a plus

Communication Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Professional phone etiquette; conflict resolution and negotiation ability

  • Skilled in preparing detailed documentation and follow-up

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Experience with High Radius, Power BI, SAP TM, TES, and DB2

  • Familiarity with call center systems such as Five9
