As the CNC Water Jet Machinist you would be responsible for the setup of CNC machining centers efficiently and effectively for multiple machining and cutting operation on various materials.
Job Title: CNC Water Jet Machinist
Location : Avon, OH
Shift: 1st (Monday through Friday 6 am to 230 pm)
Wage : $17 to $24 based on experience with reviews after 90 days
Duties/Responsibilities
- Efficient and timely setup of all CNC Water Jets in the facility.
- Ensures proper tooling is loaded into tool holders.
- Set fixtures, tooling and vises required to produce parts.
- Review work orders and prints.
- Ensure raw materials are available and correct for the part to be produced.
- Run first production piece prior to handing off to an operator.
- Do bending as needed
- Run Vaski machine as needed
- Other duties as needed
Skills/Qualifications
- 2 years of experience setting up and operating CNC Water Jet machines
- Ability to run bender and Vaski machines
- Understands basic shop math
- Able to read prints
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Will be subject to a pre-employment screening.
