Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Plasma Table Operator to join our team. This role is responsible for operating, programming, and maintaining CNC plasma cutting equipment to produce high-quality metal components. The ideal candidate will have experience in CNC machining, blueprint reading, and metal fabrication, ensuring precision and efficiency in the cutting process.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and program CNC plasma cutting tables to cut metal parts according to specifications.
Adjust cutting parameters, including speed, voltage, and gas flow, for optimal performance.
Load and unload materials, ensuring correct placement and alignment for cutting operations.
Monitor cutting processes, inspect finished parts, and make necessary adjustments to maintain accuracy and quality standards.
Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on CNC plasma equipment.
Collaborate with team members, including welders and fabricators, to ensure smooth workflow and production efficiency.
Qualifications:
Experience operating CNC plasma cutting tables or similar CNC equipment.
Knowledge of different metals, their properties, and proper cutting techniques.
Proficiency in CNC programming and software (preferred but not required).
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to lift and move heavy materials as required.
Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all safety protocols.
Work Environment:
Industrial or fabrication shop setting with exposure to heavy machinery, metal materials, and potential noise.
Requires standing for extended periods and handling large metal sheets.
Personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toe boots, is required.
