Our client is seeking a detail-driven and experienced Office Manager to support daily financial operations and provide strong administrative and customer service support. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee invoicing, accounts receivable (AR), and accounts payable (AP) processes.
- Manage daily and monthly billing cycles with accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist with HR-related tasks, including basic administration and employee support.
- Prepare inventory reconciliation reports and proactively investigate variances.
- Perform month-end close procedures: journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and supporting financial documentation.
- Analyze and reconcile Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and investigate gross profit discrepancies.
- Maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules, including related journal entries.
- Compile and organize budget documentation for divisional budgeting processes (KRS division).
- Manage the monthly cash management module and perform bank reconciliations and reporting.
- Prepare and submit government remittances in compliance with regulatory deadlines.
- Track and reconcile sales, purchases, and rebar gains/losses schedules.
- Support year-end accounting preparations in collaboration with external accountants.
- Provide customer service support, including answering calls, processing orders, and managing will-call pickups.
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a mid-size or multi-functional office environment.
- Proficiency with computerized accounting systems; experience with Sage/MAS500 is considered an asset.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Demonstrated ability in critical thinking, problem-solving, and financial analysis.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
