Job Title: General Manager – Legal Services SaaS Strategy

Overview:
We’re seeking a strategic and entrepreneurial General Manager to lead the launch and expansion of an innovative legal services SaaS product that uses health data to streamline discovery for personal injury law firms. This role blends commercial strategy, go-to-market execution, and cross-functional leadership to shape a new line of business within an established organization.

This is an exciting opportunity to act as a business-builder — taking a product from inception to scale while identifying future growth opportunities in the legal services market.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for a new legal tech SaaS product, including positioning, pricing, client acquisition, and revenue growth.

  • Gain a deep understanding of industry dynamics, legal service workflows (especially in mass tort and personal injury), and client pain points.

  • Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity to refine product strategy and identify opportunities for expansion.

  • Define and communicate the value proposition to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Set measurable objectives and performance benchmarks for market penetration, revenue growth, and product adoption.

  • Equip the sales team with product knowledge, messaging tools, and client engagement strategies.

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with internal teams (product, marketing, R&D) and external partners (law firms, litigation support vendors).

  • Collaborate on product roadmap development using insights from the market and clients.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess strategy effectiveness and adjust plans accordingly.

  • Identify and evaluate new business and product opportunities that complement the legal services portfolio.


Required Qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience in SaaS business development, product strategy, or sales within the legal services industry.

  • Strong knowledge of the personal injury legal process (mass tort and single-event).

  • Proven success in bringing new products to market and scaling revenue.

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex initiatives.

  • Ability to develop strategic plans and execute on tactical activities.

  • Skilled in interpreting business data to drive decisions.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or a related field.

  • Willingness to travel up to 15% for client meetings, conferences, and industry events.
