Nesco Resource is in search of an experienced Sales Manager to join our client's team in Milford, CT. This is a family owned and operated company that has been in business for 60 years!
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all sales and customer service activities for the company, managing a small team of sales engineers.
- Develop key relationships and acquire new customers to drive sales growth.
- Respond promptly to customer correspondence and provide detailed, timely responses for both sales and customer service inquiries.
- Assess customer engineering drawings for manufacturability and prepared comprehensive quotations.
- Verify accuracy of customer orders and address any post-sale questions or concerns.
- Implement website enhancements to increase sales.
- Help the accounting team collect past due invoices to lower accounts receivable balance when needed.
On a Typical Day You May Be:
- Work with existing customers to drive revenue.
- Work with sales team in search for new customers.
- Work with production for scheduling and on time shipments.
- Work with engineering department on existing as well as new work.
- Involved in production meetings with President & Vice President.
- Manage a team of (2) sales engineers and new quotations.
- Manage customer visits.
Here's What the Ideal Candidate Looks Like:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Marketing.
- 5 years of manufacturing experience.
- Able to read and understand detailed mechanical drawings.

- 1st shift, Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 5pm
- Salary range: up to $85K
- Monthly bonus potential ($900 - $1400/month based on shipping)
- Eligible for bonus program (pays out 4x year – Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas and end of fiscal year)
- Excellent 401K, company matches 100% up to 10% of gross salary
