Area Market Manager
Summary of Position The Area Market Manager's primary responsibilities are to oversee and manage several branches across a defined geographic territory. Reports to: Vice President/ Executive Vice President
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Direct and supervise personnel including market managers and business development managers within a defined area to develop, lead and coordinate sales and recruitment solutions to ensure client satisfaction and to drive profitability at the branch level.

Interface with clients to ensure that the client's needs are being met across their territory and defined markets.

Identify new prospects to achieve sales targets and develop new business for long-term growth.

Identify and procure major accounts including large volume users, national accounts, contracted users, on-site relationships, MSP and on-site targets.

Develop a marketing program toward those users with a clear competitive advantage.

Represent all Nesco Resource service lines and resources that are in the best interest of the prospective customers and clients.

Develop, promote, and deliver the Nesco Resource brand.

Identify new market opportunities for existing branches to expand lines of services.

Grow the prospective areas with additional branches and stretch the geographic footprint.

Manage existing personal account base with support from branch service team.

Develop and implement formal training programs for new hires.

Train new sales and recruiting personnel.

Provide market managers with tools and resources that allow them to focus on the success of their branch.

Resolve escalated customer and employee issues.

Represent corporate initiatives, procedures, and goals in the branch.
• Comply with all company safety guidelines and processes, reporting known safety issues, including near misses, accidents, and potential concerns, to the appropriate supervisor or member of the risk department.

All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Bachelor's or Associate degree required; a minimum of two (2) years' managing a profitable staffing branch and one (1) year of experience leading staff in both recruitment and sales preferred or comparable education and experience.

Must have a valid US driver's license.

Strong customer service skills and business ethics.

Excellent organizational and time management skills and interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

Excellent computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel).
Physical Demands Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Needs to occasionally move about the inside of the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. and bend or stand as necessary. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Occasionally positions self to move boxes or equipment weighing 25 pounds or less. Frequently communicates with fellow employees, clients, associates, etc. Must be able to perceive objects at a distance and up close.
