- Ensure leak-free connections and proper system pressurization
- Read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and layout plans
- Maintain strict adherence to safety, cleanliness, and data center operational protocols
- Collaborate with engineering and on-site teams to complete rack-level deployments
- Execute phased project work, starting with initial rack buildout followed by multi-rack expansion (5–6 racks)
Required Qualifications:
- Experience with mechanical/plumbing systems, preferably in data centers or similar environments
- Hands-on experience with liquid cooling systems and CDU installations (CDU 300 experience strongly preferred)
- Ability to make precise cuts and measurements on tubing and piping materials
- Familiarity with routing systems within confined or structured environments (e.g., racks, trays, channels)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work on-site in a physically active environment (lifting, bending, standing)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior data center experience (cooling infrastructure, rack-level deployment)
- Experience with leak detection, pressure testing, and system validation
- Trade background in plumbing, HVAC, or mechanical installation
- OSHA or safety certifications
Work Structure:
- Initial phase: Completion of one full rack deployment
- Follow-on phase: After a short break, expansion to an additional 5–6 racks
- Consistent weekday schedule with potential for extension based on project needs
