Production Technician II – Mesa, AZ
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Technician II in Mesa. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working hands-on with equipment, takes pride in producing high-quality products, and thrives in a safety-focused manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do
- Set up, operate, adjust, and clean production equipment according to work instructions and standard operating procedures
- Monitor processes to ensure product quality and make adjustments within set parameters
- Perform in-process inspections and prepare samples for quality testing
- Maintain accurate production records and enter data into tracking systems
- Support material handling, including moving raw and finished products using pallet jacks and overhead cranes
- Perform minor preventive maintenance on equipment
- Assist with equipment troubleshooting and recommend improvements to processes, safety, and efficiency
- Follow all safety (SHE), quality, and company procedures at all times
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts, including safety and quality initiatives
What We’re Looking For
- At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
(textile, composites, or similar experience is a plus) - Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate production equipment
- Basic computer skills and ability to maintain accurate records
- Ability to read gauges, dials, and follow detailed work instructions
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Required Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of safety procedures and safe work practices
- Experience with machine setup, changeovers, and cleaning
- Ability to perform basic math and troubleshoot issues
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal in English)
- Ability to lift, move materials, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
- Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes is a plus
Work Environment
- Hands-on manufacturing setting with exposure to production equipment
- May involve handling hazardous materials and waste (training provided)
- Requires adherence to strict safety, quality, and compliance standards
