Nesco Resource is hiring for Maintenance Techs in the Shelbyville, TN area.
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to support operations in our production facility. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to ensure efficient and safe operations while minimizing downtime.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on production equipment and facility systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on machinery
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime
- Install, maintain, and assist with setup of new equipment and machinery
- Complete maintenance logs, repair records, and work orders accurately
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies, OSHA standards, and facility procedures
- Collaborate with production staff and supervisors to identify equipment improvement opportunities
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance workspace
Qualifications:
- Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment preferred
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift equipment/materials and work in a fast-paced production environment
- Flexible schedule, including overtime or weekends as needed
