Turnaround Materials Coordinator

Roles / Responsibilities:
  • Kit & stage materials
  • Work with contractors to coordinate materials staging and distribution.
  • Interface between the field personnel and purchasing/Warehouse personnel
  • Deliver materials to jobsite
  • Return unused materials back to warehouse or storage units
  • Order extra item and add-on work material
  • Expedite materials from vendors with help from HFS Buying team
  • Monitor the usage of the "free stock” trailer and recommend changed as needed
  • Work with logistics coordinator to establish new material Client-down yards.
  • Working with field execution leads to stage material for upcoming work and delivers it to the job site.
  • Work with Warehouse Manager to complete warehousing plan
  • Document Materials Management Plan Strategy
  • Work with Warehouse Manager to define a materials warehousing strategy
  • Define materials shorts and Damages Procedures
  • Complete Materials Inventory
  • Receive and inventory of all materials LDYM or TA material tracking sheet
  • Create requisitions in CMMS
  • Integration with Cost Controller
  • Order materials as specified by planning
  • Track all materials orders and routinely communicate status
  • Keep a detailed list of long lead materials, their expected arrivals and inform the lead planner of any potential
  • arrivals that might threaten the TA schedule
  • Work with Procurement to define and align to the TA procurement strategy
  • Create with Procurement a procurement process flow map.
  • Ensure PMI is conducted in the receiving per site policy.
  • Learn, understand and follow HFS Procurement policies and procedures.

Skills / Competencies:
  • Supply chain logistics.
  • CMMS (SAP) receiving.
  • TA organization and execution flow.
  • Material kitting.
  • Material specification requirements.

Education: High School Diploma required
Experience: Requirement: Must have experience with at least 1 of the 2 areas below:
1) 5 years' experience in materials acquisition, inventory management, and kitting jobs.
2) 5 years' experience with industrial pipe, fittings, and valves.
