Nesco Resource is currently hiring 1st Shift General Labor Associates for our client in Chesterfield, MI.
Shift Schedule:
- Monday through Friday: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (10-hour shift) or 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (8-hour shift)
- Saturday: 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM (as needed)
Pay Rate:
$17.00 per hour
Position Summary:
We are seeking dependable and hardworking General Labor Associates to join a growing machine shop team. This position involves cleaning and finishing parts, inspecting products, and assisting with various shop duties as needed.
Job Responsibilities:
- Clean and deburr welded parts using an electric hand grinder
- Inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met
- Support additional shop tasks based on production needs and experience level
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily goals
Qualifications:
- Reliable, honest, and strong work ethic
- Excellent attendance and punctuality
- Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. without assistance
- Previous machine shop or manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required
