We are seeking a Level 1 Desktop Support Technician for a short-term 4–6 week engagement supporting end-user computing environments. This role will focus on basic desktop support functions, including workstation setup, light troubleshooting, and user assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform end-user device setups (desktops, laptops, peripherals)
  • Assist with basic operating system tasks (imaging, updates, configurations)
  • Provide Level 1 troubleshooting for hardware and software issues
  • Support light break-fix activities on desktop equipment
  • Respond to user requests and document work performed

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in desktop support or IT helpdesk environments
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems and common business applications
  • Basic hardware troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
