Overview
Join our team in Albuquerque, NM, as an Equipment Site Manager and lead the maintenance operations within a dynamic manufacturing environment. With a focus on silicon wafer production, you'll ensure all maintenance protocols are adhered to, leading teams to achieve excellence in equipment and facility management. This role is pivotal in fostering a safe, efficient, and collaborative work environment while spearheading continuous improvement initiatives. Competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily maintenance operations, ensuring adherence to schedules, priorities, and quality standards.
- Monitor maintenance activities and adjust plans as needed to meet production goals and enhance operational efficiency.
- Analyze maintenance data to drive improvements in equipment reliability and operational performance.
- Coordinate with Equipment Engineering and Manufacturing teams to align maintenance efforts with organizational priorities.
- Make critical decisions in emergency situations, including staffing adjustments and escalation procedures.
- Promote a collaborative team environment and facilitate effective conflict resolution.
- Manage employee performance, including providing feedback, coaching, and disciplinary actions as necessary.
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and adherence to site protocols and safety standards.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across maintenance functions to enhance overall efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all safety programs and maintain accurate documentation for safety, training, and performance records.
- Schedule and oversee contractors for preventative maintenance and repair work.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in a related field and 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Strong knowledge of electronics, mechanical systems, and semiconductor equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Proven leadership and interpersonal skills, including effective communication, problem-solving, and team facilitation abilities.
- Ability to work effectively across all levels of an organization and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical data, maintenance instructions, and specifications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in leading maintenance teams within a semiconductor or similar high-tech manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in using maintenance management software and tools.
