We are seeking an experienced CNC Horizontal Mill Machinist to join our team in Cleveland, OH. This is a direct hire opportunity offering competitive pay, strong benefits, and union representation. Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC Horizontal Milling Machines
- Load and unload components manually or with overhead hoists following work instructions
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments
- Perform tooling changes and adjust offsets in CNC controls
- Maintain quality and production standards per specifications
Qualifications
- Experience with CNC Horizontal Mills (Vertical Machining Center experience considered)
- Experience machining parts ranging from 5” to 15” in diameter
- Working knowledge of CNC G-Code and M-Code programming
- Proficient in using inspection tools, including:
- Micrometers
- Calipers
- Thread gauges
- Bore gauges
- Experience with machine tooling, including setup and offset adjustments
- Tool presetter experience is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
- Ability to pass a pre-employment screening
- Willingness to work overtime, including weekdays and Saturdays as needed
- This is a union manufacturing environment focused on precision machining and aerospace-quality standards.
Job Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire
Shift: 2nd Shift
- Standard: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM (Monday–Friday)
- Overtime: 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM (as needed)
