Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Production Group Leader to oversee multiple production lines within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for leading line operations, supporting production teams, and ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee 3 production lines, each supported by a Production Line Leader
  • Lead and support production teams to meet daily operational goals
  • Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, and quality standards
  • Monitor production performance including cost, productivity, and efficiency
  • Coordinate line activities including startup, changeovers, and shutdowns
  • Ensure all materials and supplies are available for production runs
  • Track and document production metrics and reports
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor adjustments/repairs as needed
  • Analyze line performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, 6S, standard work)
  • Provide coaching and feedback to team members and line leaders

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing or production environment
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience required
  • Hands-on experience as a Machine Operator or Production Operator preferred
  • Strong understanding of production processes and equipment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, production systems, etc.)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Frequent bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment

Additional Requirements

  • Must be flexible to work overtime and weekends as needed
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork

Monday to Friday 11am to 8pm
Once a month – a Saturday
