Job Summary:Supervises and controls the general accounting and cost accounting functions. This includes the general ledger, accounts payables, accounts receivables, fixed assets, and cash management. This individual is responsible for financial statement and report preparation, budget preparation and reporting, and statistical analysis as required by management. Communicates financial results and business planning matters to the Japanese parent company.Essential Functions: 1. Sets the example and requires all department employees to know and follow Company policies as directed by Employee Handbook, the Safety Rules and Regulations, and the Quality Manual. 2. Maintains the Companys system of accounts and keeps books and records on all Company transactions. 3. Prepares financial and statistical reports as required. 4. Assists in the preparation of the annual budget and provides actual vs. budget data to department managers. 5. Monitors and coordinates all cash management activities for accounts payables, payroll and investment accounts. 6. Provides training and supervision for the accounting staff and annual evaluations of their performance. 7. Monitors established internal controls to assure compliance. 8. Coordinates and prepares external auditor requirements and schedules. 9. Prepares consolidation schedules as required by Parent Company. 10. Assists departmental personnel with budget activity, proper coding, document preparation (RINGI), and other accounting related activities. 11. Assists with the planning and implementing changes in the accounting system. 12. Assists in the preparation of required tax filings (sales tax, tangible/intangible property tax/ KIDA). 13. Communicates essential information to the Parent Company as they require. 14. Performs other job-related duties as assigned by Manager or member of the Management Team. | |

Good eyesight, hearing, and speaking voice; Ability to lift and/or move approximately 10 lbs.
