Key Responsibilities
- Support ongoing activities at automotive production facilities. Understand concerns, collect data, take appropriate actions, and resolve problems.
- Ensure plant operations are functional and provide proactive support as needed.
- Communicate updates with technical and account management teams, direct on-site team activity, and ensure Health, Safety, and Environmental guidelines are always followed.
- Resolve inquiries, monitor application processes, oversee consignment inventory, manage material ordering, and provide hands-on support; followed by a written daily shift report.
- Follow safe work practices and explain complex ideas across technical, production, and non-technical personnel to satisfy requirements.
- Hold weekly meetings with technical experts to review test reports.
- Engage daily to provide feedback from data collected, answer questions, and provide recommendations as needed.
- Record weekly inventories and communicate to management for publication internally.
- Use digital tools (ETQ, SAM, Daily Dashboard as requested).
- Support any special projects as needed.
- Provide sales support to maintain and expand business and ensure effective start-up of new products.
Qualifications
- HS diploma or equivalent required.
- 2 years of related field experience, with preferred experience in mixing rooms, color evaluation, or paint color adjustment. Specialized training is provided.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Suite programs.
- Comfortable working in a production setting with automated equipment and performing occasional lifting of up to ~50 lbs.
- Collaborates effectively within a team to address and resolve challenges.
- Flexibility to work 2nd shift and occasional weekend hours.
