The Role:
The key responsibilities of this Cable Assembler include, but are not limited to:
- Read, interpret, and follow blueprints and job instructions to accurately assemble product.
- Perform in-process checks to ensure products meet internal and customer quality standards.
- Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
The Person:
The key skills and qualities of a Cable Assembler:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in wire harness/cable assembly in a manufacturing environment (strip and crimp, soldering, printing labels, ty strapping/cable lacing, connectorizing, wire harness testing, RTV, etc.).
- Able to read and understand job layouts, blueprints, schematics, and work from written and verbal job instructions on operations.
- Basic AS9100 knowledge desired.
- Required: IPC/WHMA-A-620 Modules 1-8; Preferred: J-STD-001.
