Industrial Electrician

Overview
We’re hiring an experienced Industrial Electrician to support the installation, maintenance, and startup of electrical and control systems in water and wastewater treatment facilities.
This is a hands-on field role working with power distribution, PLCs, instrumentation, and chemical feed systems in both construction and active plant environments.

What You’ll Do
- Install, wire, and troubleshoot electrical and control systems (120V–480V)
- Work with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, motor controls, and instrumentation
- Support equipment startup, commissioning, and system testing
- Diagnose and repair electrical and electromechanical equipment
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Calibrate instruments and verify system performance
- Ensure compliance with NEC codes and safety standards
- Communicate with customers and provide clear service updates
- Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicle
What We’re Looking For
- 3 years of industrial electrical, controls, or instrumentation experience
- Experience in industrial, water/wastewater, or process environments
- Working knowledge of NEC codes
- Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and motor controls
- Ability to read schematics and use electrical test equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Nice to Have
- Journeyman electrician license (or equivalent experience)
- Experience with water/wastewater systems, pump stations, or chemical feed systems
- Instrument calibration and loop verification experience
- SCADA or PLC programming familiarity
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Work in industrial facilities, outdoors, and on active construction sites
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights or in confined spaces
- Able to climb, kneel, crouch, and work around operating equipment
- Must be able to wear required PPE
Schedule & Travel
- Full-time, typically 8–10 hour days (weekday schedule, may vary)
- Overtime opportunities available
- Travel throughout Florida required
- Overnight travel: ~2–4 nights per month
