Position Overview
The Document Control Assistant supports the Document Control team by managing and maintaining documentation across a variety of projects with differing levels of complexity. This role ensures accuracy, consistency, and compliance with established documentation standards while supporting multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Submit documentation to customers in a timely and accurate manner
- Prepare inspection books and final data books
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, consistent, and aligned with standard practices
- Manage multiple documentation tasks and projects simultaneously
- Collaborate with internal team members and stakeholders under general supervision
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 2–4 years of experience in document lifecycle management
- Working knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within document control
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to plan and execute tasks effectively
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple requests with a high degree of ownership
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive self-starter
- Strong note-taking and learning agility
- Technical aptitude
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Experience with Adobe or equivalent document management tools
Work Environment
- Performs a variety of moderately complex tasks
- Works under general supervision with some autonomy
- Demonstrates creativity, flexibility, and strong attention to detail
- Reports directly to a supervisor or manager
