Qualifications:
- Ability to aid in the development of corrective and preventive actions for internal and external quality concerns.
- General knowledge of the automotive quality standards (ISO 9001 standard).
- Knowledge of performing quality inspections on products using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
- General problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to train team members on quality requirements.
- Basic computer skills in Work and Excel.
- Participate in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Support AHK and customer quality systems initiatives
- Assist Quality Engineers with customer and supplier quality concerns as needed.
- Understand the overall quality specifications and standards.
- Follow process control and inspection procedures.
- Encourage to make recommendations for system improvements.
- Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing processes.
Physical:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Stand for long periods of time in a manufacturing environment.
- Specific vision abilities are required include viewing raw materials and parts of color matching and depth perception.
