Overview

Located in Mesa, AZ, we are in search of a proactive and technically adept individual to fill the role of Training Coordinator within our manufacturing sector. This position is crucial for designing and managing training programs that enhance workforce skills, ensure compliance with industry standards, and boost operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver both hands-on and classroom-based training tailored to organizational objectives and operational requirements.
  • Develop, design, and manage training programs for machinists, inspectors, assemblers, and other technical personnel.
  • Ensure all training complies with industry workmanship and quality standards.
  • Identify training needs through job analysis, performance evaluations, and collaboration with leadership.
  • Create and implement learning strategies, including LMS courses, workshops, and on-the-job training sessions.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements to enhance impact.
  • Collaborate with managers, subject matter experts, and external vendors to develop high-quality training solutions.
  • Schedule and coordinate training sessions for individuals and groups of varying sizes.
  • Maintain and manage an annual training calendar.
  • Track and maintain accurate employee training records.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Adult Learning, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in training, learning & development, or instructional roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in aerospace or regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of quality and workmanship standards such as:
    • AS9100 Quality Management Systems
    • IPC/WHMA-A-620
    • IPC J-STD-001
    • IPC-A-610 (Inspection of Soldered Assemblies)
