Nesco Resource is looking for a Foam Assembly Operator located in Brookfield, CT. This is a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.
Shift: Monday-Friday 6:30AM-3PM
Pay: $19-$20/Hour
Job Summary: We are seeking a Foam Assembly Operator to support production by assembling foam components and packaging materials using tools, machinery, and technical drawings. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment, ideal for candidates who are detail-oriented and comfortable working with measurements and assembly instructions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble foam components and related materials based on work instructions and specifications
- Measure, cut, glue, and fit materials to required dimensions
- Read and interpret basic technical drawings and measurements
- Inspect work during and after assembly to ensure quality and accuracy
- Prepare and package finished products for shipment, including labeling and protection
- Assist with preparation of materials for more complex assemblies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet production goals
- Support general warehouse and production tasks as needed
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, warehouse, or production environments is a plus (will train)
- Ability to read measurements and follow written instructions or basic technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Ability to bend, stoop, and perform repetitive physical tasks
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with moderate noise
- Ability to work both independently and on a team
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
