The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for managing shipping and receiving, including loading and unloading freight using a tow motor. The role involves building and staging pallets, preparing materials for production, and maintaining accurate inventory control. This position also supports production operations, handles return-to-stock materials, and ensures the warehouse remains clean and organized. Candidates should have warehouse experience, basic math and reading skills, and the ability to operate equipment and lift up to 50 pounds. Strong communication, time management, teamwork, and adherence to safety procedures are essential for success in this role.
Warehouse Coordinator – Key Responsibilities
- Load/unload freight using a tow motor; handle inbound/outbound shipments
- Build, stage, and prepare pallets and materials for shipping and production
- Manage shipping/receiving, production orders, and return-to-stock materials
- Load materials into silo storage from bulk trucks
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and inventory control
- Assist with production floor training and support as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Skills & Requirements
- Tow motor (forklift) experience
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills; able to read a tape measure
- Strong time management, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to self-manage, multitask, and stay organized
- Experience in a warehouse environment
- Able to lift 50 lbs and use hand tools
- Follow safety procedures; reliable attendance; overtime as needed
- High school diploma/GED required
- Forklift certification and basic computer skills preferred
- Ability to pass a preemployment screening
Salary: $23-$24 an hour
Shift: 7 am to 3 pm Monday through Friday
