CMM Operator / Quality Inspector

1st Shift Mon-Fri 6a - 4:30p
We are seeking a CMM Operator / Quality Inspector to support inspection processes, ensure product quality, and maintain compliance with engineering specifications. This role involves CMM programming, inspection execution, and working closely with production to resolve quality issues.
What You’ll Do
- Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections
- Operate, program, and maintain CMM equipment (Zeiss preferred)
- Use Calypso software to create and run inspection programs
- Interpret blueprints and GD&T requirements
- Perform inspections using calipers, micrometers, and precision tools
- Document inspection results and maintain quality records
- Identify and manage nonconforming parts
- Work with production to resolve quality issues and prevent delays
What We’re Looking For
- 2 years of quality inspection experience in manufacturing
- 2 years of CMM operation and programming experience
- Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading
- Experience with Calypso software (preferred)
- Ability to use standard measuring equipment
- Strong attention to detail and decision-making skills
Preferred Experience
- Aerospace manufacturing experience
- Experience with AS9100 quality systems
- Familiarity with CATIA or similar CAD software
- Experience with Zeiss CMM (G2 or similar)
