Machinist – 1st Shift (Temp-to-Hire)
Pay: Up to $30 /hour DOE
Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machinist to join a growing manufacturing team. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering steady hours and long-term potential.
We're looking for candidates with a strong work ethic, stable work history, and a willingness to learn and grow.
What You'll Do
- Set up and operate machines to produce precision metal components
- Machine both solid and porous metal materials to close tolerances
- Perform basic assembly and fitting of components
- Read and follow blueprints and work instructions
- Use measuring tools to ensure parts meet quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness standards for high-purity products
- Adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–2 years of machining or manufacturing experience (or technical training)
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools
- Basic computer and math skills
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable work history and strong work ethic required
