Position Overview
We are seeking reliable Production Floaters to support both machine operating and shipping operations. This role will move between production lines and truck loading, (this is by hand, not forklift) helping ensure product flows efficiently from the line to outbound shipment. This is a fast-paced, team-driven environment with consistent hours.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Work on production lines handling finished product as it comes off the machine
Stack lightweight bags of packing peanuts (approximately body pillow size) in organized stacks (up to 9 high)
Stage and prepare product for shipment
Load finished goods onto trailers and assist with outbound shipments
Supply production lines with materials and remove completed product as needed
Assist other team members across production and shipping to keep operations running smoothly
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently (product is lightweight but repetitive)
Must be comfortable stacking product at height (taller candidates preferred due to bag size)
Able to work in a fast-paced production environment
Strong teamwork and willingness to move between tasks
Reliable attendance and positive attitude
Forklift experience is a plus but not required
Physical Requirements
Standing and walking for extended periods
Frequent lifting, bending, stacking, and pushing materials
Repetitive motion in a fast-paced setting
Non-climate controlled environment
PPE Requirements
