MSP Program Manager

Summary of Position

Under the direction of the senior MSP leadership, this role is responsible for overall management of assigned Managed Service Program (MSP).

Reports to: Sr. Director of MSP

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The MSP Program Manager is responsible for overall management of the MSP program for an assigned client. This includes managing the sub-vendor / supplier program population, MSP team, and day-to-day operations to ensure assigned client program meets annual business plan goals. This may include implementing, managing, and/or providing support within the below categories of Client & Program Management, Supplier Management, Manage Requisition Fulfillment Process, Staff Management, and any additional duties assigned.

Client & Program Management:

Establishes and develops manager relationships within assigned program and expands existing manager relationships to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and working in conjunction with the local program staff to ensure profitability to annual business plan. Fulfills client service through frequent interaction with client managers to ensure satisfaction and identify potential business development opportunities for contractors/subcontractors, projects or services. Knowledgeable of and understands the contracted terms and conditions between Nesco and the client, including pricing as well as client rules of engagement and processes;

Supplier Management:
Collaborates with the Sr. Director of MSP to ensure execution of the sub-vendor / supplier program for assigned client(s), ensuring optimum customer satisfaction; collaborates with MSP senior leadership to support proper selection and solid negotiations in the sub-vendor and supplier contracting process, to ensure the maximum profitability, as well as quality, of each placement. Collaborate with and provide support to MSP senior leadership to plan, organize and conduct quarterly performance reviews of the sub-vendors to monitor their performance to Nesco service level agreements; including periodic benchmarking of sub-vendor population for comparison and evaluation purposes.

Manage Requisition Fulfillment Process:
Manage the day-to-day operations, which includes, implementation and management of the requisition process for assigned client, regularly meet with MSP team to ensure prioritization of orders / requisitions with emphasis on responsiveness and customer services for assigned client. Provide excellent customer service and act as the liaison between the client and suppliers to successfully manage order fulfillment. This includes conducting regularly scheduled meetings with the client to foster the client relationship, present information regarding the performance of the program, and gain a solid understanding of the client's labor business needs to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and identify potential business development opportunities for contractors/subcontractors, projects or services. Knowledgeable of and understands the contracted terms and conditions between Nesco and the client, including pricing as well as client rules of engagement and processes; Manages to and meets/exceeds client SLA's, KPIs and program deliverables; Works with MSP senior leadership and client to develop and implement strategic plans.

Staff Management:
Responsible for selection, hiring and training of staff personnel for the Program in compliance with Nesco internal hiring guidelines. This includes performance evaluation, recruitment and retention. Accountable for ensuring direct reports are managed to performance expectations. Provide day-to-day training of assigned staff and foster a motivating and encouraging culture for professional growth.

All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Three to five years of experience in managing a vendor on-site program, general management, or account management role in a staffing company, including three years supervisory experience
  • Conflict and negotiation skills
  • Requires excellent organization, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with vendors / candidates at all levels
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Requires ability to effectively multi-task and function in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Travel for client events may be required, depending upon the individual client requirements

Physical Demands

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Needs to occasionally move about the inside of the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. and bend or stand as necessary. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Occasionally positions self to move boxes or equipment weighing 25 pounds or less. Frequently communicates with fellow employees, clients, associates, etc. Must be able to perceive objects at a distance and up close. Must be able to travel for short or extended periods to other Nesco Resource client locations as needed for specific meetings, or to other business locations related to business.
