Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Clerk to join a manufacturing finance team. This entry-level role provides critical support for inventory and financial processes, enabling accurate reporting and informed business decision-making. The position works across multiple financial and manufacturing systems and supports both routine and ad hoc analytical needs.
Key Responsibilities
Financial & Inventory Support
- Serve as a finance project resource for inventory and standard cost activities
- Research discrepancies, identify errors, and summarize data across financial and MES systems
- Support inventory tracking and financial reporting processes
Systems & Documentation
- Prepare and submit Internal Order (IO) requests in accordance with established procedures
- Complete and maintain DocuSign forms and related documentation
- Review and update documentation to reflect system changes and process improvements
Analysis & Reporting
- Support ad hoc financial and inventory-related requests, including root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Assist in aggregating key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics
- Contribute to tracking performance against financial goals and objectives
Customer & Cross-Functional Support
- Provide customer service support to internal business partners
- Respond to inquiries, requests, and issues in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes
Required Education & Experience
- Associate's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with financial and manufacturing systems such as MES, PeopleSoft, or SAP
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, cost accounting, and inventory management (preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including working with large datasets
