Job Summary:
The Customer Service Loader is responsible for providing excellent customer service while safely loading and unloading building materials. This role requires forklift experience and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload building materials onto customer vehicles and delivery trucks
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to move products within the yard or warehouse
- Assist customers with orders, ensuring accuracy and satisfaction
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Verify materials against invoices or order forms
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers
- Prior forklift operating experience (certification preferred or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50–100 lbs)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic math and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Experience in building materials, lumber yard, or warehouse environment
- Knowledge of construction materials and supplies
- Outdoor yard and warehouse setting
- Exposure to weather, dust, and heavy equipment
- Physical labor required throughout the shift

7:00am - 4:00pm
