Plastic Injection Mold Press Operator
Location: Clinton Township, MI
Pay Rate: $15.50/hour
Shift: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
Overview:
Nesco Resource is seeking a Plastic Injection Mold Press Operator to join our client in Clinton Township, MI. This role is responsible for safely operating molding equipment, handling parts, and performing secondary operations to ensure high-quality production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely remove and handle parts from molding machines
- Monitor part quality and maintain attention to detail throughout production and secondary operations
- Perform trimming, assembly, and other finishing tasks according to specifications
- Package completed parts accurately and according to required counts
- Record production data, including job details and scrap totals
- Follow all operator instructions and complete required training for molding and assembly processes
- Identify and report any defects or discrepancies from approved samples
- Install preloads or additional components as required during the molding process
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Utilize computer systems for time tracking and job assignments
- Adhere to all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and GDP (Good Documentation Practices) standards
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements, including ISO 13485 standards for medical manufacturing
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in plastic injection molding preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills for data entry and timekeeping
