Position Summary:
A driven and detail-oriented Sales Account Manager to manage key relationships across both Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) service accounts and the clients aftermarket customer accounts. This role requires a blend of customer-focused service, strategic sales management, analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with customer contacts at both individual and organizational levels. – Communication, Relationship Building
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and proactive communication.
  • Manage the end-to-end customer order process communicate lead times, part availability, shipping schedules, and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Act as a key liaison between the client and customer stakeholders, supporting business alignment and mutual growth.
  • Monitor and manage accounts receivable status, including escalation as needed.
  • Analyze customer forecasts versus actual orders; engage customers to improve forecast accuracy and accountability.
  • Oversee key OEM administrative functions, including customer portal management, Sales Order processing, documentation development, and program management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, Customer Service, Finance, and Engineering) to ensure smooth execution and fulfillment.
  • Influence and support the new model development process through early involvement and continuous communication.
  • Handle additional account management activities including quoting, pricing updates, credit requests, and monitoring excess & obsolete inventory.
  • Lead customer RFP responses with support from internal teams; coordinate proposals and negotiate to close business opportunities.
  • Support annual budgeting and forecasting activities by analyzing customer-supplied data and external market trends.
  • Occasional travel required (<10%, with potential fluctuations based on business needs).

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); SAP experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in deliverables.
  • Analytical mindset with sound problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to interpret and present data clearly to support decision-making.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Positive, proactive attitude with a customer-first approach.


Education & Experience:

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience managing customer accounts or in a sales-related role.
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Ability to analyze data, handle inventory, build optimized routes, handle PO requests
