Job Summary:
The Production Associate is responsible for supporting daily manufacturing operations in a frozen food production facility. This role involves preparing, processing, packaging, and inspecting food products while ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor production line equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Prepare raw materials and ingredients for processing
- Package finished products according to company specifications
- Inspect products for quality, accuracy, and consistency
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
- Assist with loading/unloading materials and supplies as needed
- Report equipment issues or production concerns to supervisors
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in manufacturing or food production is a plus
- Ability to work in a cold environment for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Basic mechanical aptitude is helpful
- Ability to stand for long periods. This position is a heavy lifting position and could be a constant heavy lifting assignment. (up to 50 lbs), and perform repetitive tasks.
