Nesco Resource is actively recruiting for a Production Operator position with our valued client in Mesa, Arizona — a global leader in advanced materials.

What You Will Do
- Set up, operate, adjust, and clean production equipment according to work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Monitor process conditions and make adjustments within specified limits to maintain product quality
- Take samples, perform in-process quality checks, and document results accurately
- Supply and maintain inventory of raw materials and components
- Perform minor preventative maintenance and assist with troubleshooting
- Move raw, intermediate, and finished materials using forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment
- Follow all SHE (Safety, Health & Environment), security, and quality procedures
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, TPM, SMED, 5S)
- Maintain accurate production records and enter data into the tracking system
- Report any safety concerns, near misses, or equipment issues promptly
- Work collaboratively as part of a high-performing team
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment (textile, composites, or similar preferred)
- Forklift and overhead crane experience is a plus
- Basic computer skills (Word, Access, and ability to learn new systems)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
- Ability to read gauges, dials, and follow detailed instructions
- Good mathematical and problem-solving skills
- Reliable attendance and a strong safety-first mindset
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Must be willing to work rotating shifts and overtime as needed
