Location: Burlington, MA
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Compensation: $25.00 /hour (Based on experience & qualifications)
Summary
As a Finishing Technician on 1st Shift, you’ll play a hands-on role in preparing precision ceramic parts for aerospace applications. You will ensure components meet strict visual and dimensional quality standards by performing detailed finishing and inspection work.
Your Daily Activities Will Include:
- Finish and repair ceramic parts using precision tools and techniques
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections using microscopes and calibrated instruments
- Follow detailed work instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards
- Record production data in internal systems (e.g., Oracle, Excel)
- Work closely with Engineering and Quality teams to resolve issues and improve processes
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace in line with 6S and EHS protocols
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) due to ITAR regulations
- Manufacturing or lab experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity for fine, repetitive hand work
- Comfortable working with microscopes and handling small parts
- Able to sit or stand for extended periods and follow procedures accurately
- Basic math and computer skills (Microsoft Office; production tracking systems)
- Preempoyment drug test and background check is required
- Preemployment Vision and hearing test required
