Customer Service Representative (Call Center)
Remote (Must be within 1 hour of Phoenix or Tucson, AZ)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Between 7:45 AM – 5:15 PM (final schedule assigned after hire)
Assignment: ~6 months (potential for extension/perm)
Interview Process: Remote interview → Onsite Day 1 orientation

- Schedule will be assigned based on business needs and may differ from posting
- Training: 3 weeks | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (attendance required)
- First day onsite for orientation, then fully remote
- Must be able to transport company equipment (2 monitors, desktop, etc.)
- Must have reliable hardwired internet

Position Overview
We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Call Center Representative to support inbound calls related to tax compliance, account inquiries, and general information. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle high-volume inbound calls in a fast-paced environment
- Resolve Tier 1 customer issues
- Review and update customer (taxpayer) accounts
- Verify and gather accurate information while multitasking across systems
- Educate customers on policies, resources, and next steps
- Submit requests for payment arrangements
- Document all interactions in multiple systems
- Meet performance and productivity expectations
- Participate in team meetings and engagement activities
Required Qualifications
- 1 year recent call center experience (must be fast-paced, high-volume)
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Workspace)
- Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
- Strong customer service mindset and problem-solving ability
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual (Spanish)
- Experience in banking, finance, insurance, or telecom call centers
- Experience with process improvement or performance metrics
- Associate’s degree or higher
Additional Requirements
- Must pass background check, fingerprinting, and AZ tax compliance check (past 5 years)
- Must live in Greater Phoenix or Tucson area
- Ability to work a flexible schedule within business hours
- Strong attendance and reliability required
