Laboratory Technician – Analytical Chemistry Services (PFAS)
Location: Norwell, Massachusetts

We are an industry leader in the detection and analysis of per- and polyfluorinated substances (PFAS), and we're expanding our team to meet growing demand.

Key Responsibilities
Process environmental samples following written Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and project Quality Assurance Project Plans (QAPPs).
Perform and document quality control procedures to evaluate and ensure sample preparation accuracy.
Enter data and observations into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).

Required Qualifications
Associate's degree in chemistry or related field and at least 1 year of laboratory experience, or equivalent education/experience.
Experience in preparing environmental samples for chemical analysis.
Familiarity with Solid Phase Extraction (SPE) techniques.
Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office tools.
Ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
Strong record-keeping, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Ability to follow SOPs precisely.
Flexibility to work full-time, second shift and occasional overtime as needed.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with PFAS drinking water extraction using EPA Method 537.1 and/or EPA Method 533.
Experience extracting PFAS from non-potable water, solids, and tissues in compliance with DoD QSM 6.0.
Knowledge of DoD QSM 6.0 1633 requirements for PFAS extraction and analysis.
Ability to operate/maintain laboratory equipment, including Geno/Grinder, SPE apparatus, balances, centrifuges, etc.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and prepare data summaries.
